Methodology · Phase 1

Repeatability before spectacle.

Every plugin is installed on the same controlled lab, using basic recommended functional settings and the same measured URLs. Results are repeated, aggregated, and checked against the functioning site.

Testing principles

How each benchmark is produced

01
Configuration

Basic recommended settings

Plugins are activated as shipped. If the primary performance feature remains disabled, only the clearly recommended basic mode is enabled. Required onboarding uses default, recommended, or pre-selected choices only. No advanced manual tuning is applied.

02
Measurement

Repeated Lighthouse measurements

Each plugin and measured URL is tested five times with Lighthouse mobile simulated throttling. Public summaries are derived from raw runs using medians and visible ranges. Additional tools will be added progressively.

03
Evidence

Raw source of truth

Individual test runs are authoritative. Summary rows are generated or reviewed aggregates and never replace raw measurements.

04
Coverage

Scenario-aware

The model supports corporate and ecommerce scenarios from the beginning. Phase one publishes only the corporate scenario.

05
Scoring

Experimental score

No final formula is hardcoded. Any future experimental score will be secondary metadata and will not hide raw metrics.

06
Quality

Functional review

The site is visually checked after plugin activation so faster metrics do not conceal a broken page.
